This home, with caroling snowmen in the window, is ready for snow. They must really enjoy snowmen, as there are others decorating the front yard. On West Alpine near UOP.

This home has taken full advantage of its corner location, and made their home very Merry & Bright. The moon, shining over the house, was an unexpected addition to their display.

Living trees are displaying their holiday finest bringing a heart-felt “Merry Christmas” at this home.

When I first saw this home, it had more even more decor displayed including a Christmas tree on the front porch. Alas! Real Grinches stole several of the inflated figures, including a new “Yoda” and even took the Christmas tree. The owner, who still loves the holidays and does such a great job of decorating, took it all in stride and has done some “adjustments” to make the display still very beautiful. A Jingle Winner for certain.

This home in Caldwell Park is certainly ready for Christmas with Santa on the porch ready to greet holiday guests.

I’m starting this year’s Jingle Award winners with this very creative display based on the classic Christmas children’s book by Dr. Seuss, “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”. Located near the intersection of Kensington/Mendocino near UOP. Wonderful to visit day or night!

I finally have the time to revive my annual Jingle Awards now that Michael and I share a home in Stockton, California. Now that the Pandemic is over, I’m once again looking forward to finding homes & neighborhoods here who get into the spirit and decorate during the Winter holidays.
Carroll Park has a fair number of homes which decorate for the Holidays. For the final Jingle Award of the year, I honored this two-story Craftsman in Carroll Park South (3rd/Lindero), which has not only really captured the sentiment of the season, but has decorated in a style befitting their historic house. From the oversized, second floor wreath, to a “Tannenbaum” in each of the first floor windows, it’s picture perfect ambiance is what many people envision when they sing “I’ll be Home for Christmas”.
